1. Definitions
1.1. "Company" refers to G Sync Electrical.
1.2. "Client" refers to any individual, company, or entity that engages the services of the Company.
1.3. "Services" refers to all electrical services provided by the Company, including but not limited to installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
2. Scope of Work
2.1. The Company agrees to perform the services specified in the service agreement or quotation provided to the Client.
2.2. Any changes or additions to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
3. Quotations and Estimates
3.1. All quotations and estimates provided by the Company are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue.
3.2. The Company reserves the right to adjust quotations or estimates if the scope of work changes.
4. Payment Terms
4.1. Payment is due within 30 days from completion of the services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.2. The Company accepts payment via cash, cheque, bank transfer, or other agreed-upon methods.
4.3. Late payments may incur interest charges as per the statutory rate.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
5.1. If the Client wishes to cancel or reschedule a service, they must provide at least 24 hours' notice.
5.2. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
6.1. The Company guarantees that all work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner.
6.2. The Company provides a 12-month warranty on all work undertaken. This warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or alteration by the Client or third parties.
6.3. Any defects in workmanship reported within 12 months of completion will be corrected by the Company at no additional cost to the Client.
7. Liability
7.1. The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the performance of its services.
7.2. The Company's total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the services provided.
8. Health and Safety
8.1. The Company is committed to maintaining a safe working environment and will comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
8.2. The Client agrees to provide a safe and hazard-free environment for the Company's employees and contractors.
9. Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
9.1. The Company shall comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, which aim to prevent danger from electricity in work activities.
9.2. All electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work will be carried out in accordance with these regulations to ensure the safety of both employees and clients.
9.3. The Client agrees to provide the Company with any relevant information about the electrical systems and any known hazards.
10. Confidentiality
10.1. Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information disclosed during the course of the services.
10.2. This confidentiality obligation shall survive the termination of the agreement.
11. Governing Law
11.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be resolved through good faith negotiations between the parties.
12.2. If the parties are unable to resolve the dispute, it shall be referred to mediation or arbitration as agreed upon by the parties, in accordance with the Arbitration Act 1996.
13. Amendments
13.1. The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any amendments will be effective immediately upon notice to the Client.
14. Acceptance
14.1. By engaging the services of the Company, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
